A New Park and Furry Friends

Sunday was a busy day for us. When we got home from the aquarium, we were too tired to cook, so we headed off to Saizeriya (an Italian joint). On our way back we found a new neighborhood park. We stopped to let the kids play a bit (in hopes that Sara would go to sleep quickly - but that is a whole other post)

With all the new and different toys at this park , the kids still chose the sand.
Then they noticed that there were 2 bunnies in the park. They befriended the owners and they were able to try to feed the bunnies.

Sara struck up a conversation with this man. She was having problems getting the bunny to eat. He proceeded to make a round tummy stick out big from his with his hand. I thought he was saying that the bunny was pregnant, then I realized he was telling her that the bunny was full.

Here is Sara chasing the bunny trying to get it to eat.

Another video of the kids feeding the bunnies.

It has been brought to my attention that those back home have not hear much of Sara talking. I hope to get some video this weekend of Sara speaking English and Japanese so you all can hear her.

I just love seeing children with animals, so cute. When Matt and Abby come over they want to play and chase Samantha (my cat) all over, of course, Sam doesn't like that. I would love to hear Sara talk in Japanese. Maybe Sara and RJ could keep up their Japanese somehow when they get back.
