When we arrived on the island, we were a bit upset that the clouds had not gone away and were releasing some rain (imagine that, it is still rainy season here on Honshu (the main island of Japan)). We decided to skip the beach and head to
Onokoro. Japan is infamous for their amusement parks with miniature lands.
We started on the Merry-go-round

Don't worry, Mitch is in the picture, he just ducked down so it looked like Sara and
RJ were on there all by themselves.

Holland

Wow!
RJ really has grown a lot while were have been in Japan...oh wait another miniature...this one is of the Leaning Tower of Pisa

The Colosseum with
Toshi,
Izumi,
RJ, Mitch and Sara
RJ so wanted to ride the Ferris wheel...he was so patient...NOT!!

This is in Russia (sorry, I forgot the names and the pamphlet is in Japanese)

I liked the random stone statue in the background.

The Great Wall of China

There were tickets left over so I was voted to take the kids on the train ride.

All in all, the kids fared pretty well considering it was raining. I love to see the miniatures and
RJ did get to ride the Ferris wheel.
