Well, it is actually called Okonomiyaki and we took Chacha to try it while we were in Osaka. Different parts of Japan prepare it differently so we weren't sure exactly what we were in for, but we figured we could try it.
Cabbage is mixed with egg, flour and water and mixed with your choice of meat (pork, squid, octopus, beef, shrimp...). Then grilled on a hot griddle at your table. 
After it is grilled, then they put noddles on top and flip it over to grill the noodles. Then they smear mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce on top. We think it is pretty tasty. Chacha seemed to agree.After dinner, we continued to walk around the shopping area. We came across a crepe stand and introduced Chacha to her new found love in life....
