A New Park

When Miho picked us up Sunday morning, I asked her if she knew about Himeji Baraen (Himeji Rose Garden). She said yes and that she would take us there after the tea ceremony if we wanted to. I was excited. But before we went there, we stopped, got some onagiri and sushi and headed to a park to have lunch and some play time for the kids.

There were some new toys for the kids at this park. Sara is riding on a bike thing that when you peddle it goes around in a circle.
Akiko agreed to peddle for Sara so she could go for a ride. Check Mitch's blog at a later date to see a picture of me on this ride.

Miho brought with her 2 rackets and tennis balls. RJ had fun trying to figure it out.

I thought this was a great playground toy. It is shaped like a ladybug. When you go up the ladder, there is a slide down the middle of the bug's back. There is more sand inside the bug. RJ and Akiko agreed to pose, but Sara didn't quite understand.

I took this picture as we were leaving the park. we were out in the country side. If you look closely in the upper left corner of the picture, you will notice an open green belt....
a golf course. We have seen many driving ranges, but I think this was the first golf course we have seen in Japan.
